Our surface cleaner uses steam reaching temperatures up to 150 degrees and pressure as low as 80 bars. This eliminates any risks of damaging surface areas from high pressure at close range.
The hot steam, low pressure cleaning produces fantastic results, as well as killing any organic growth, leaving your driveway clean and hazard free. Once the area has been steamed, we can offer the option of applying a Professional Use Only Biocide to cleanse and prolong any form of regrowth.
Steam Cleaning is one of the safest ways to remove dirt and organic matter. This high temperature cleaning process is particularly useful for cleaning delicate surface areas such as brick walls, patios and boundary walls. The high temperature also provides a deeper clean and kills any organic growth, delaying any forms of regrowth. Steam is also highly effective for removing grease, paint, oil and chewing gum. It is a great alternative to pressure washing and reduces the need of chemicals.
COLD PRESSURE WASH
We use High Pressure to remove grime, moss and algae growth. Sometimes soft washing isn’t enough and you need something more powerful to remove those tough stains. For stubborn areas that need extra cleaning our team are fully qualified in the safe handling and use of chemicals.
Our aim is to provide our customers with the safest options available with the best cleaning results without causing any damage to walls and buildings. In some cases high pressure is not an option we would advise and in these cases we would recommend a low pressure chemical clean or steam. After pressure cleaning some driveways and patios will require re-sanding. If this is the case, this will be included in the quotation. In most instances this will need to be carried out on a different day as the surface needs to be dry so that the sand can be brushed in properly.

Sodium Hypochlorite
Sodium hypochlorite is a powerful cleanser which rapidly removes black, red, green and yellow staining from exterior surfaces of your home. This chemical does not bio-accumulate and becomes inactive within 30-60 minutes of application.
Sodium Hypochlorite doesn’t only clean, it also sanitises and disinfects exterior surfaces, prolonging any forms of re-growth for several years. Sodium Hypochlorite is an instant cleaner, so you can expect the organic growth to be removed on the day of clean.
Professional Use Only Biocide
Professional use only biocide controls biological growth such as algae, lichen, fungi, moss and mould. This chemical has a better long term protection, remaining deeper into the pores of exterior surfaces. Professional Use Only Biocide has a 50% active Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC), which can be up to 8x stronger than biocides sold to the general public.
Once dry, the biocide is pH neutral and fully biodegradable in order to be as eco-friendly as possible. Although the customer will notice a difference within seven days, biocide works with weathering and can take up to several months to fully cleanse.

The first step is to contact you by phone and arrange a visit to the property to evaluate exactly what work is required and what, if any, precautions are needed. This visit would also bring to your attention anything broken or damaged in the area needing a clean.
We then offer a FREE no OBLIGATION QUOTE. Once agreed then another appointment is arranged for the work itself to be carried out.
What Happens on the Day of the Clean?
Upon arriving at your home on the agreed date and time, we will be sure to introduce ourselves to you again and confirm the work to be done. We then take all necessary precautions to ensure that any flower beds or nearby surfaces are protected as much as possible from the excess spray. We then treat the area to be cleaned and allow it soak in. After this has elapsed, we then begin the pressure washing. Depending on the surface we may apply a biocide treatment to slow any future regrowth of any biomass.
When the work is complete, we will check over the surface and allow it to dry. Depending on the surface that was cleaned, we will use quality Dry Kiln sand and brush it in to all the now cleaned joints of each block by using a soft broom. Depending on the weather, this final step may have to be carried out on a different, dryer day.
Other surfaces such as imprinted concrete can be resealed after pressure washing. Doing so helps to protect the surface and prolong its life, minimising future maintenance. It also helps to enhance the colour of the surface that has just been cleaned, helps to protect from stains and slows down the growth of algae and moss.
This resealing is available in a matt or satin finish. This is subject to an additional cost but it is well worth it to keep the area clean longer. If you are interested in this resealing option, please let us know when booking your consultation.
